Mumbai Indians’ captain Sachin Tendulkar joined the team’s camp at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.
Most of the MI bowlers bowled to him. Munaf Patel, RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha were among those who had a bowl at Tendulkar. Shaun Pollock and Robin Singh watched as the right-hand batsman got into the groove. The Little Master practiced for about half-an-hour in the nets before a practice match.
The Mumbai Indians played their third practice game, ahead of their first IPL 2012 match in Chennai. This was their second practice match under lights at the Wankhede Stadium.
MI owner Mukesh Ambani also visited the team’s practice today.
However, Sachin Tendulkar got out early in the innings much to the dismay of the onlookers. He was caught at square-leg by Dhawal Kulkarni off Pragyan Ojha as he attempted to scoop the left-arm spinner. He scored three runs.
