Champions League T20 2012 will be the fourth edition of the Champions League Twenty20, an international Twenty20 cricket tournament. Tournament Matches schedule start from 10th to 28th October 2012. It will be held in South Africa from 10 to 28 October 2012.

This tournament will feature a team from Pakistan for the first time. Pakistan’s participation had not been considered for past seasons of the tournament due to the hostility between India and Pakistan since the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

The venues are: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Centurion and Durban.

Four teams from the Indian Premier League 2012 Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils will play the fourth edition of the Champions League T20 in South Africa.

Group 1 Teams - Hampshire(England), Sialkot Stallions (Pakistan) and Auckland Aces (New Zealand).

Group 2 teams- Yorkshire(England), Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies) and the winners of Sri Lanka’s domestic T20 championship.

Group Stage:

The Group Stage will comprise 10 teams divided into two groups. Each group have five teams. Each side will play the other four in their group with the top two teams qualifying for the semi-finals.

Group A Teams- Kolkata Knight Riders (India), Titans (South Africa), Perth Scorchers (Australia), Delhi Daredevils (India) and Qualifier 1.

Group B Teams- Chennai Super Kings(India), Highveld Lions (South Africa), Sydney Sixers (Australia), Mumbai Indians(India) and Qualifier 2.

Kolkata Knight Riders will play with Delhi Daredevils in CLT20 2012 1st match and the final of the Champions League Twenty20 will be played on October 28 at the Wanderers, Johannesburg.
