INDIA TEAM SQUAD & PLAYERS LIST FOR ICC CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2017: Finally, the much-awaited announcement for the team has been announced today by the BCCI. There is the announcement of 15 players who will play ICC champions trophy in England. The ICC champions’ trophy will start on June 1. The first match of India is against the Pakistan. As the tournament is all about the big names, BCCI took more time to announce the Indian squad.
The good news is for the fan of Rohit Sharma that he is coming back for the trophy. Even Shami is back after his injury. It’s really good to see both in the team. Rest of the team are same as the previous series. Rohit Sharma faced the injury last year against the England. KL Rahul has been selected on behalf of that but Rohit Sharma took over his place against in the team.

Manish Pandey is also coming back in the team. It seems selected took a good decision by taking the Manish Pandey in the team. He played some great innings in last IPL. Overall, the selector has faith in the team who beat England.
After the meeting, Prasad explained that Kuldeep is the really great player and they thought about him but India has already two spinners which are Yuvraj and Kedar. All the team has been chosen on the base of last year performances no on the performances of current IPL season.

They put five more players on behalf of injured players. If there is any uncertainty happen out of the five players will go England immediately to take the injured player. These five players are Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur, Suresh Raina and Dinesh Kartik.
