I was quite cut when he decided to call it quits.
All because the pressure of playing in a losing test got to him.
But good on him if he makes it out all good! |

I have always rated Tait as a fast bowler but what a soft prick.
Must be a hard life getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars just to play cricket.
But good to hear that he's coming back. _________________ West Coast Eagles - Digging deeper in '08! |

I completely and utterly agree.
When he played in that 20/20 match against NZ in Perth, I thought he was excellent (possibly a chucker). I had never seen a bowler bowl as quick as that.
But true to form, he spits the dummy when he does'nt live up to the hype of bowling at 170kph. it seems that he can talk the talk, but when it comes to walking the walk, he just cant do it.
Having said that, I would give my lefty to play for my country. |

Exactly. This new mob of Aussies playing for Australia are somewhat forgetting the true value of representing their country. I, too would gladly give up my lefty to play for Australia. I woudln't have a sook about it if i got hit all over the ground for a few games. Part and parcel of being a fast bowler. You get over it, work hard in the offseason and overcome it. Brett Lee did that. You don't see him bloody "retiring". _________________ West Coast Eagles - Digging deeper in '08! |

Indeed! I noticed that when the IPL auctions was going on, Tait through his name into the hat (albeit too late).
Money money money. |

I do think Tait is a bit full of himself sometimes.
He's really only in it for the money. Bet he doesn't realise that there are literally tonnes of people queueing up to take his place and would play for chump change. Just to wear a baggy green. _________________ West Coast Eagles - Digging deeper in '08! |
